What this atlas describes
World Morals preserves the Universal Moral Code — Statistical Atlas, Edition XXI corpus. Definitions and mappings are assertions from the supplied file, not conclusions of an independent scholarly review. The selected systems are not a representative sample of the world’s population.
Every mapping is imported with independent review pending, even when the file calls it specific or official. “High”, “Moderate” and “Developing” confidence labels belong to the workbook.
The file contains no verified quotations, demographic records, coordinates or structured historical events. An absent mapping is never converted into rejection. Workbook anchors are not displayed in quotation marks as if they were quotations.

Original sheets and cell values are preserved. Each source anchor identifies its source row. IDs, duplicates and references were checked. Edition XXI omits the Statistical Method and Comparative Matrix sheets; the matrix is derived from unique relationships. The original workbook remains unchanged.
Source duplicates and discrepancies
The workbook and PDF report 94 system records. Seventh-day Adventist Christianity appears twice (rows 50 and 89), with different source references. Both records are preserved as variants of one system: 52 religious and 41 nonreligious, 93 unique systems in total.
All 10620 evidence rows are preserved within 10530 unique relationships; 90 rows provide additional anchors for existing relationships. Percentages use unique systems. The report records 1103 differences between original cells and reproducible calculations.

Reproducible calculations
Religious coverage = mapped religious systems / 52. Nonreligious coverage = mapped nonreligious systems / 41. Overall coverage = mapped systems / 93. Each percentage is computed from unique mappings, not population.
Specific anchors count both labels beginning “Specific”. This includes “Specific official international anchor”, which the original index does not count as a direct official anchor in some rows. The original is not changed: both figures are shown.
Original rankings are retained as data, not used to assert ethical superiority. Default exploration order is alphabetical.

The interface is available in English and Spanish. The original English corpus remains untranslated; interpretive translation requires specialist review. Linked sources retain their own rights. We do not reproduce complete works or assign undocumented licenses.
The file is published as an immutable snapshot. Editorial research is stored separately with revisions and explicit publication. An HTTP 200 check only establishes technical availability, not that a passage supports an interpretation.
