Reject ageism
Do not demean, exclude, or disadvantage persons merely because of age.
Reject bribery in technical and professional work
Do not offer, accept, solicit, or conceal bribes that compromise professional judgment.
Reject cruel or degrading punishment
Do not impose penalties that deny human dignity.
Reject deception and coercion in religious persuasion
Advance religious convictions through truth, freedom, and persuasion rather than manipulation or force.
Reject forced segregation
Do not isolate people from education, work, worship, housing, or civic life solely because of disability.
Reject gambling and gain based on another's loss
Avoid games and schemes in which hoped-for profit depends materially on the uncompensated loss of others.
Reject intolerance that violates others' rights
Do not invoke tolerance to excuse violence, persecution, exploitation, or denial of equal rights.
Reject nationalism when it conflicts with moral duty
Place divine and moral obligations above ethnic supremacy, militarized nationalism, or unconditional state loyalty.
Reject racism and prejudice
Oppose racial hierarchy, inherited prejudice, discrimination, and the injustices they produce.
Reject religious persecution
Do not harm or exclude people because of faith or nonbelief.

Remain impartial in humanitarian aid
Do not discriminate in relief on the basis of nationality, race, religion, class, politics, or similar status.
Remedy harms linked to business activity
Provide or cooperate in legitimate remedies when enterprises cause or contribute to harm.
Remove dehumanizing stereotypes from education
Correct educational materials and practices that portray peoples or religions with contempt or collective blame.
Renounce selfish desires while fulfilling worldly duties
Perform ordinary responsibilities while reducing possessiveness, egoism, and self-centered attachment.
Repair the ravages of poverty and catastrophe
Provide food, medicine, education, tools, rebuilding, and companionship after deprivation or disaster.
Repent and reform
Acknowledge wrongdoing and change conduct.
Require independent ethics review
Submit consequential biomedical research to competent, independent, and pluralistic ethical review.
Require voluntary participation in restorative processes
Do not compel victims or offenders to participate in restorative dialogue.
Resist gravely unjust laws conscientiously
Refuse participation in profound injustice through principled means.
